"I was sad to leave state farm for homeowners insurance, but they gave me no choice after negligently quoting me. They first said they would cover me for a DP-3 policy so I bought a new 4 point inspection which they required. I specifically had asked them if the age of my property would be an issue and they assured me it was not a problem. However, after the expense and time of a new inspection, they re-quoted me with a broker instead for $700 more than the quote I was provided. This easily could have been avoided with any due diligence. I found a different provider that did not even need the inspection for a much better price."
